Please bear with us a few days as we restore this site from a hack…
For some reason I just like potted ferns but I never wanted a living plant leaving dead leaves behind. This is a lasercut lamp design. Its available in 3 sizes and fairly costly to produce, as the design includes about 100 pieces of lasercut plastic. Ideally I’d like to see this design bought by a company for mass production. Meanwhile I’ve made a limited number available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/502038096/fern-laser-cut-table-lamp-or-hanging
For the Womens March I did a logo, some poster designs, and printed series of stickers to give out to people. People elsewhere in the country downloaded this design to march with if they didn’t have their own banner.
Had a great time with a zoom lens at the Democratic Rally in Philadelphia, chasing Bruce Springsteen, et al.
I was lucky enough to get a photopass to The Meadows Festival 2016 and Relix.com even posted a bunch of my photos. That was fun!
A postcard design. Copy on these has changed minorly over the years a few times, but the template is more or less the same. We’re using the same cards at NYC Resistor presently.
Sights in Paris, over a few short trips in one year.
My top ten shots from my favorite music festival in America. It’s not too big and not too small. Just the size that you can make it to all the stages without feeling dead after the weekend.
Started in 2015, this is an ongoing series of images of the Hudson River in various seasons. Ultimately I hope to print these as large scale decorative landscapes and do a gallery show with them.
For the second year in a row I was granted a photopass to NYC’s best music festival. Attached are some of the shots I’m more satisfied with.
A design for a corian coffee table that is based on a Geranium Leaf. I seem to be obsessed with leaf forms lately. This may come to fruition as an object once I master shopbotting corian.
A sampling of images from trips to various zoos – 2015 & 2016.
For the month of December 2015 and 2016 I cut snowflakes out of paper. Why do this? People really liked them and it was a fun non-denominational way to celebrate the season. Flakes were posted daily to Facebook and Instagram. Perhaps next year I will also offer these as greeting cards. I had a great time trying to invent new shapes.
Rather than destroy a new digital camera in the desert, I took an old Nikon with 400 speed Fujifilm. Good results. Also included a few iPhone panoramas because they capture the scale better.
We had a short 3 days in Istanbul, so not many photos. I’m glad we got there before things got too crazy to visit.
Fallon and Bono at U2. This image ran in the NY Post and a few other places.
A few photos from ForeCastle Festival in Louisville, KY.
The first music festival I ever got to photograph was a total blast.
Over at www.blinkinlabs.com they have a variety of rgb LEDs that they carry including a thing called a blinkytile. This is a prototype diffuser for a tile. It scatters leaf patterns when illuminated.
Rather than make these and sell them, I decided to make them and give them away. The design is over on inventables.com.
